AFS PLUS is an extensive and versatile products portfolio, including standard and thermcouple-fitted heaters, born to meet the demands of the most widespread industrial applications, such as packaging, hot melts, plastic processing, compressors, air-conditioning, etc.,both for replacements in existing machines and for new plants.
The high-temperature AFS PLUS cartridge heaters are available in four different options:
• Basic straight sheath,
• Straight sheath complete with threaded end for internal or external mounting,
• Straight sheath complete with fixing flange,
• Sheath shaped at right angle, with or without block.
The same options, but with a limited range of dimensions, are available also with built-in J thermocouple.
Besides, the customers can also choose between a wide range of protection sleeves for the leads that make the heaters fit for use also when high operating temperatures and/or mechanical stress make the working conditions rather critical.
Whether you are looking for metric or imperial dimensions this is not an issue, as the AFS PLUS heaters are available in a wide variety of diameters, lengths and loadings.
Metric diameters range from 6.5mm to 20mm, while the lengths go up to 400mm.
As for the imperial sizes, diameters vary from ¼” to 5/8”, whilst lengths go up to 13”.
All heaters are designed for use at 230V with loadings ranging form 100W to 2500W.
